Created for the Bentley Record Room, it reimagines audio delivery as a choreography of motion, using precision belts, symmetrical tension, and mechanical rhythm to mirror the act of listening itself.

Eight acoustic drivers are suspended within a balanced pulley system, their placement forming a visual harmony that matches the richness of the sound. Orange and black tension lines cut across the frame, at once evoking energy and restraint. Every wheel, every line, every movement is intentional, building toward a sense of mechanical poetry.

Rather than concealing its function, Sonata puts its mechanics on display. The exposed belts nod to analog audio history while delivering sound with digital clarity. It is more than a speaker. It is an installation of motion, tension, and form, transforming playback into presence.
